Avatar, Sokka review

Here is my review of Sokka, from the toy series Avatar, The Legend of Aang. He is the first figure I picked up from this series. I also bought Aang and Zuko.

Those who watched Avatar, the Last Air Bender should be pretty familiar with the character Sokka. He is one of the main characters in the animated series and most of the jokes revolve around him.

Packaging

Accessories
He comes with one boomerang, one boomerang holder, two war clubs and one spear.
Sculpting
While I don't think he looks 100% like his animated counterpart, but there's at least an eighty to ninety percent likeness. He is sculpted to 6 inch scale and looks fine when placed with other 6 inch action figures. One point to note is that both his feet point towards each other (see picture below). What's more to say, pictures speak a thousand words.

Scale comparison

Articulation
He has quite the articulation for a mass market figure.
He has cut neck, ball-jointed shoulders, swivel biceps (below the sleeves), pin bows, hinged mid-body articulation, waist joint, ball-jointed hips, pin knees and pin ankles.

The inclusions of wrists or mid forearm swivel and cut tight joints would have been great.

I have to say I wasn't as impressed with these characters, I believe they could have been done a lot better.
